Course Description

This program is designed to be five trimesters, with the majority of the time being centered around "hands-on" shop training projects. Students are trained to troubleshoot and replace defective components on refrigeration units to work order and blueprint specification. 

Students also observe the functioning of components such as controls, fan, condenser, evaporator, or compressor to determine need for repair or replacement.  Installation, service and repair of domestic appliances is also taught.
