The Patient Care Tehnician / Medical Assistant is designed to include classroom study and supervised clinical practice in health care facilities. The patient care technician student must complete the prescribed program of study and pass the state certification for CNA and national certificate for Patient Care Technician and Medical Assistant.
Broad Units of study include: Nurse Aid, Anatomy and Physiology, Medical Terminology, ECG Technician, Phlebotomy, Dosage Calculations, Computer Concepts, and Medical Assistant.
